Saturday’s Word: Printed Word

Carrying two or three large books in my arms

Makes me feel such a

Distinct form of happiness,

While clasping one small book in my hands

Provides a different one.

Playing a puzzle game

As an audiobook plays

Brings me yet another.

Picture books

And coffee table books

Are pleasant to flip through.

Trashy magazine personality quizzes,

Read in line at the grocery store,

Are a guilty pleasure.

Millennial memes shape many of my thoughts.
